How it all started

I've always wondered what it would be like to become apart of a virtual community. Playstation 3's across the world were being sold, and I wanted one! I set out on a mission to obtain this magical console and I did! I was surprised with a big brand new 45" flat screen Vizio t.v and boy was I stunned! I couldn't wait to get on and see all the wonders of Playstation Network, until I was told I wasn't allowed online!! At the time I was about 12 - 13 years old.. (I don't remember) and I wasn't quite sure about what might be going on in online communities. My mother was cautious, very cautious. Soon enough, my mother gave in a let me get online and I was a very happy little girl. While joining Playstation Network, I wasn't quite sure how email's worked so I ended up using my stepdad's account. The account name was a bit dumb, and I didn't enjoy it much, but I was still super happy (The account name was angelc1982). I looked all around Playstation Network, trying to figure these things out one by one, and I came across the Playstation Store. I was hearing about this brand new virtual community coming out called Playstation Home. I was a bit confused but intrigued. I waited until the beta came out (of course I had no idea what the beta was back then, so I treated it as if it was the actual thing) and I was like a kid sugar coated with candy. I logged onto Home and saw all these people standing in this odd.. odd order. We were all mushed together as one, as I loaded in Central Plaza. I took a look at my outfit and I was wondering why I was a man. So I quickly started pressing a lot of buttons on my controller hoping no one saw me as a man and hit wardrobe (by accident). I figured out how to switch genders and made my own pretty little avatar on Playstation Home. About 5 - 10 minutes later I was born. My avatar was finally what I wanted it to be and I was so happy! I started walking around Central Plaza and ran into this guy (who was humping a tree while doing running man emote) and I asked him what is this. He told me it all, and my mind was full of confusion so I slowly walked away from the tree huger and continued my adventure. I searched all around and a lot of boys were trying to talk to me and I was getting a bit frightened. I quickly logged out of Home and out of Playstation Network. I'm sorry, but the people were scaring me. Therefore, this is how I became "XxCuteCupcake" on Home. Hope you enjoyed.
